Space is one of the most important details to confirm before booking a 360 photo booth. The platform may look compact, but safe operation requires room for the rotating camera arm, guests entering and leaving the platform, the attendant, lighting, and nearby guest traffic.
Plan for about a 10 × 10 operating area
For ReelBlessed360 events, approximately 10 × 10 feet is the normal planning target. The exact footprint can vary by setup, but using a full 10 × 10 area gives the team room to position the platform safely and manage guest flow.
Why the booth needs more than the platform size
The camera arm rotates around the platform. That means the safe operating zone has to remain clear even if the physical platform itself is much smaller. Guests also need a clear place to step on and off without crossing the rotating path.
What else should be near the booth?
A six-foot or larger table is useful for props and event materials when included in the setup. Depending on the package, sharing stations or a display may also need nearby space and power.
Power and Wi-Fi
Reliable power is required for the equipment. Wi-Fi is also important when guests are expected to receive or share their videos during the event. If a venue cannot provide dependable internet, portable connectivity may need to be included in the quote.
Outdoor 360 booth setups
Outdoor events require additional planning. The surface should be level and safe, the equipment needs weather protection, and power must be dependable. Wind, rain, extreme heat, and direct exposure can affect whether the setup is safe to operate.
Venue access matters too
Even when the event room has enough space, load-in may still be a problem if there are narrow doors, stairs, elevators, long carries, restricted parking, or tight setup windows. Those details belong in the pre-quote qualification process.
